Badlands の中にある町。Red Deep River Valley の中にあり、Calgary から約110Km離れている。
Drumheller の名は、1910年にこの地を購入し、炭坑を操業した Colonel Samuel Drumheller に由来している。
町のやや郊外には、Royal Tyrrell Museumがある。1985年にオープンしたもの。春夏は年中無休、9:00～21:00。秋冬は月曜休業、10:00～17:00。大人10ドル

高さ86フィート、長さ151フィート。料金3ドル
